I have just returned from a fabulous trip to South Africa. We flew into Cape Town and spent a busy few days there, as there is plenty to do in this beautiful city. A trip up Table Mountain in a must for amazing views.
You can take day trips out to the Cape wineland areas and down to the Cape Of Good Hope too.
We then collected our hire car and headed off through the mountains and rugged landscape along the Klein Karoo to stay in Oudtshoorn famous for its Caves and Ostrich farms. After a couple of nights there we headed through the awesome Qutenigua Mountain pass to Knysna and Plettenburg Bay for a couple of nights.
We then travelled along the famous Garden Route with more amazing scenery, stopping at the quaint town of Hermanus famous for whale watching. We returned back to Cape Town via Stony Point to pay a visit to a Penguin colony. This coastline has truly amazing beaches and coastal scenery!
